I am also happy to report that v1.7.48 resolves most of the issues. Menu button and list name are back. However the checkmark icon in front of the items is still enlarged and not relative to the text, it does not change when I change the settings.

1.7.50 Has a change that is attempting to address the icon issue. Let me know if it helped.

Hi the latest update 1.7.50 has helped a little they are still to big in comparison to the text. I am using the teeny settings in the preferences to have it not overwhelming. the size of the icon in the menu is perfect.
Is there a way to make a screenshot so I can show you.

Super happy to see development ramping back up on this as I’ve used it for years until February of this year and went to another shopping app that just doesn’t quite cut it.
Not so much a bug report but a nag I have with the way the checkboxes aren’t centered vertically between the lines (single line entries) in the small and medium sizes. My device is the Samsung Note 4 stock running Lollipop 5.0.2.

Just found a couple of bugs, well one really, as the other has existed for years. The one I’ve had for what seems like forever is that when choosing stores for an item, checking the checkbox causes the entire list to jump up or down, not sure which way, by one line. Happens frequently when I go into the store selection list. This has happened on my last 2 devices over 2 or 3 versions of Android. It seems to be intermittent as I could reproduce it without fail earlier tonight, but now can’t reproduce the issue.
The bug I discovered tonight is this. When viewing a store’s list, if I see an item that is in the wrong sequence, I will change the aisle number to position it correctly. I normally do it through the edit item menu and then choose save and edit stores and aisles. Tonight, I decided to take a shortcut (one less tap) to change an aisle number. I chose “change stores for item” so I could just tap on the aisle button and change it there. I did this which changed the aisle in the dialog box and then chose finish which took me back to the list. The original aisle number was still shown. So I went back to “change stores for item” and checked the aisle number which showed the new one. Tapped finish again, but list still showed old aisle number. I finally went about the change by editing the item and then save and edit stores and aisles, which worked fine.

Since the recent round of updates, the needed-item count that used to appear on the store selector list is missing. There’s now no way to tell (that I’ve found) how many of the items I need, that I can get at each store, short of going through the entire list, selecting and selecting each store.

The label in the “SAVE AND EDIT STORES AND AISLES FOR ITEM” button on the Item Edit screen does not fit in the button image. Changing text size has no effect.
In general, many (all?) the labels seem to be noticeably larger now. They could be smaller for me and allow more information to show without scrolling.

I have “Use Quick Add Mode” checked but when I tap the green plus button and create a new item, the item is not added to the store list I’m in. It adds an item, but only to Unassigned. Shouldn’t the item be added at least to the store list I’m currently viewing? If I decide it needs to be in other stores, I could just choose them while creating the new item. If I don’t choose any stores, the item just goes to Unassigned which doesn’t seem very intuitive.August 26, 2015 at 7:33 pm #236
Two more bugs found:
Can no longer bring up the aisle list to change the aisle for an existing item. The option appears, but there is no button to press to display the list. The only working option is to enter a new aisle, even though the one I wanted already exists. Which brings up #2…
When entering a new aisle using the “dark” theme, the text is white on off-white. In other works, it’s virtually invisible.August 27, 2015 at 8:53 pm #237
