The new price button seems much larger than necessary, drastically reducing the number of items that can be displayed per screen and requiring more scrolling to see the whole list. There doesn’t seem to be any adjustment, as for text and checkbox size. Any fix possible? I freakin’ love this app and use it many times a day, every day, and really, really would like the old size button back. Thank you!
Tap on the 3 dot icon at the top right of the main screen, and then select Tools, then Preferences. Scroll all the way down the options to “Display Info”. There are now two sliders that you can adjust the checkbox and font size, from tiny to huge.
Thanks for the speedy response. My point though, is that while the sizes of the checkbox and font are adjustable (and that’s great!), there doesn’t seem to be any way to make the price button smaller. It’s much bigger than it used to be, and affects how many items can be displayed per screen – far fewer than before. It was perfect. Now it’s not.
I don’t use the cost option, but I went into the preferences and turn all the cost options on. With them off, the app displayed 8 items. With the cost options on, the app displayed 7 items. That’s only one less item. I did this on a cellphone, and had the same results (1 less) on a tablet too, so I really have no idea why you should be seeing “far less” items. Adjusting the font size, might allow you to see more items. I also found that if your using any of the cost comparisons with other stores, it will drastically reduce the number of items displayed on a screen, but that is because of the store names text being displayed.
Sorry, that’s about all I can come up with. The button itself, isn’t affecting the number of items by much. Dan
Actually, screen density may come into play here. Depending on the pixel density of the device, the button may appear larger on one vs. another. I’ll take a look into having it mirror the check mark size slider change I made recently.
