ParticipantI’ve been using this app for several years now and really love it. It’s only been recently I’ve needed to send someone my well-curated list to get my groceries for me. When I sent the list in email to that person, the export did not include my Notes, which includes things like brands, sizes, alternates, places to look for items she’d have a hard time finding. So I had to retype all those Notes into the email.
As an experiment, I copied the info of one item to the Brands field, and the info didn’t export from there, either.
Is there a way to include Notes when exporting to email that I’m just not finding?
Thanks so much!

ParticipantI played with it and couldn’t find any way to send it. You might try taking a screen shot of it, then send the picture. Didn’t try it, but you might figure out a way to do it…. Dan

ParticipantThank you for trying, DLaw. Screen shots are a good woworkaround for now, thanks for suggesting that. Thankfully having to have someone else do the shopping is temporary.
I’m interested to see if this changes in the future, as I would expect someone else has run into this same conundrum by now.

ParticipantI haven’t heard from the author for a good while. I know he as been very sick for a long time, and I told him I would try to keep up with the forum. I seriously doubt that there will be any enhancements to the program.
With the heavy cellphone application development over the last few years, there are a lot of apps to choose from. Personally, I have no desire to switch having been just the app for what seems like a couple dozen years, have well over a thousand records, for dozens of stores. Depending where I am in town at the time, I will shop in the closest store to where I am. For example, there are 3 HEBs that I use, and guess what, the aisles are all different, with products on different aisles. ToMarket can easily handle that kind of data. That’s just one reason I stick with it.

ParticipantDLaw, I’m sorry to hear the developer is feeling so poorly, and has been for awhile. I understand too well how chronic illness changes one’s life.
We sound similar in our heavy use of this app. I used to use HandyShopper on my Palm Pilot, and as soon as I got my first Android phone (we were early adopters of the G1) I ported that data to ToMarket and have loved and recommended it ever since. Like you, I have 3 Krogers amongst my stores with their own aisles, depending on where I am when I stop for groceries. And I keep other lists for other types of stores. It’s really great.
I’ll not expect any updates, then, but will keep using this app until it simply stops working. I don’t want to switch, either, as this one is nearly perfect for me.
